Menu pembuka di awal tahun buat bangsa Indonesia adalah : Banjir. Karena banyak rumah-rumah penduduk terendam banjir otomatis berpengaruh ke setiap jalan raya di ibukota termasuk saya. Meskipun saya setiap hari kerja menggunakan kereta commuter line yang bebas hambatan, nyatanya ikutan juga kena imbas banjir karena banyaknya penduduk yang memilih ngungsi di peron-peron stasiun yang tidak terpakai dan di rel-rel kereta.

anehnya kenapa milih ditengah rel kereta? sudah jelas tidak aman dan sangat berbahaya, gimana kalo tiba-tiba ada kereta lewat? anak-anakpun dibiarkan main ditengah rel kereta tanpa ada larangan dari orangtua dan yang paling bikin saya kesel mereka itu ngungsi atau kasarnya numpang di peron kereta dan di rel kereta dan sampah mereka sehari-hari dibuang begitu saja dan alhasil peron dan rel-rel kereta tersebut dibanjiri sampah pengungsi.

akibat mereka mengungsi saja sudah bikin jadwal perjalan kereta terlambat karena kereta harus jalan pelan-pelan supaya nggak kesenggol. Nah sekarang mereka malah buang sampah sembarangan dan bikin pemandangan hijau-hijau di sepanjang rel jadi rusak.

Tiba-tiba saya mikir, mereka ini kan ngungsi karena banjir, banjir itu salah satu penyebabnya adalah buang sampah sembarangan., sekarang rumah mereka kebanjiran dan pindah numpang ditempat baru dan mereka memulai lagi kebiasaan buruknya yaitu buang sampah sembarangan.

Kalau ceritanya seperti ini saya sejujurnya tidak merasa kasihan dan malah bersyukur mereka kebanjiran, karena ini bukan salah alam melainkan salah manusia itu sendiri karena mereka terlalu apatis terhadap sekeliling mereka. karena itu wajar saja alam marah dan memberikan hujan yang besar!

Kalau sudah seperti ini siapa yang patut disalahkan? kita pasti langsung berbondong-bondong menyalahkan Jokowi, Ahok, dan Pak SBY karena menganggap kinerja nya tidak baik dan tidak berkompeten, padahal yang seharusnya disalahkan siapa? ya kita…

Sifat, watak, kebiasaan dan cara hidup kita yang harus diubah, harus belajar peduli dengan lingkungan dan sekitar kita juga. meskipun seribu kali mau di normalisasi dan dikeruk sama pemerintah tetep aja gak akan bersih kalo kita setiap hari melakukan kebiasaan buruk membuang sampah sembarangan.

sebenarnya tidak susah membuang sampah pada tempatnya, meskipun saya akui memang tong-tong sampah dijakarta tidak memadai dan kurang banyak tapi berkorban sedikit saya rasa tidak masalah. kalau memang belum ada tong sampah disekitar kita cobalah simpan dulu didalam tas atau di kantong, saya tidak pernah keberatan untuk mengumpulkan sampah-sampah didalam tas, toh itu jauh  lebih baik dibanding membuang sampah sembarangan.

Bagi penduduk jakarta dan seluruh indonesia, STOP APATIS! MARI BEREMPATI!

A rainbow will be visible when it rains as a sign to all that God will keep his promises, and rainbows still remind us of God’s faithfulness to his Word. 🙏👼
